We also take this moment to express our gratitude for your investor trust, which stands as a crucial support in meeting daily tasks and the associated challenges. Reflecting on the past year, we can assert that 2023 was pivotal for the project. We feel we’ve laid a strong foundation for the future and forged valuable business connections throughout the year.
In terms of team development, 2023 brought significant and profound events. Tamás, our project manager, continues to embody stability and professional organizational quality. Simultaneously, the most significant step was the restructuring of our marketing team. In the third quarter, Gergő assumed the role of our new marketing lead, and we welcomed new members to the team, including Jamie as the community and content development manager, Asim as the marketing and business development manager, and Martin as the graphic designer. Together, they form our new marketing team. Over the past months, excellent synergy has developed within the marketing team, elevating this project to a level where it can compete with the industry’s best teams.
Beyond the marketing team restructuring, our project’s professional side will soon expand with a new sales lead responsible for European regional sales. Our future colleagues will have a solid starting point as we’ve recognised and employed the advantages of direct sales in time, achieving significant progress through the efficient work of our Hungarian sales team.
In 2023, we emphasised increasing the project’s community and enhancing its social media presence. Primarily targeting the Twitter platform, we witnessed significant growth, adding thousands of new followers to the $APRA community. Additionally, our initiative to create a new Telegram community provided the Apraemio community with direct access around the clock.
The Apraemio team is dedicated to enhancing your experience further. We’re currently immersed in a comprehensive rebranding effort aimed at elevating our website and overall branding to AAA-quality standards. This endeavor reflects our commitment to delivering a top-tier platform that resonates with our users.
This community offers numerous advantages, including real-time updates, live or recorded Q&A podcasts, and other direct activities. Agwu Francis Chinonso, our new community manager, plays a crucial role in fostering strong connections within the community, consistently sharing information and holding biweekly community-led online discussions, providing opportunities for members to network and gain insight into our project. We hope you’re following or will consider following our international community activities in the future!
Regarding Apraemio’s content strategy, we aimed to increase the quantity and quality of daily content. We started providing educational content about our project, the gold industry, and the cryptocurrency sector on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. In 2024, we intend to elevate the level of professional information further and focus on video-based content targeting platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube shorts, and TikTok, while continuing our weekly written summaries on Medium and in newsletter form, primarily prioritizing video content.
We’re excited to inform you that on December 15, 2023, the $APRA token took its first historical step towards exchange listing. We’ve signed a pre-contract with a significant player among the world’s top 20 crypto exchanges, initiating the practical preparations for our cryptocurrency exchange introduction. However, we won’t stop there, as we aim to engage with two to three more prominent exchanges to make the $Apra token available to tens of millions of exchange clients in 2024!
You’ve also been consistently informed about the current developments of our gold mine project operating in the Republic of Mali through our appropriate channels. Laboratory examinations of hundreds of valuable drilling samples are ongoing, with approximately 70 kg of samples undergoing extensive analysis at university laboratories in Budapest and Miskolc, Hungary. Our Hungarian lead geologist is expected to complete a comprehensive report by the end of January 2024, crucial for determining the precise location and extent of our upcoming detailed drilling program scheduled for the middle of next year. This program marks the precursor to establishing the first small gold mine, anticipated in the first quarter of 2025.
